He meant they didn't have a Plan B, and he's right.

No he's not. Not using width against 10 men does not mean no plan B. Plus Plan A is so good you rarely need plan B. Well done Chelsea but over 2 legs Barca hit the woodwork 3 times and missed a penalty. Shit happens. Thought he was absolutely right with what he said. Chelsea parked the bus and Barca kept trying the same thing. All he was saying was they had to vary it and create some space. Barca only varied it and tried to gamble a bit in the last 2 mins of added time and when it was too late.

I'm not claiming we are anywhere near as good as Barca but it reminded me of us in certain games against sides who set out to defend. Same slow slow build up trying to thread it through a packed defence. Sometimes a shot from 25 yards can work wonders.

That for ne has to be one of the greatest if not greatest European Cup victories ever; well in the CL era anyway - even better than United V Bayern final and Liverpool V AC Milan final!

To beat probably the greatest ever club side with 10 men and it's not even the best Chelsea side I have ever seen is unbelievable!!
