I always try to remind people once you are a fan of a big club throw away any sense of justice or ethics towards your team. Good chance you will just end up calling the kettle black. European Football in all leagues was never meant to be fair sadly.

What a load of rubbish indeed. Barcelona have said over the last month that they intend to spend very big in the summer to fill their problematic gaps. Now unless they are selling Messi, where is that money coming from?? It's already public knownledge that the Neymar deal was extremely dodgy indeed and looks to of cost Barcelona 100M+ at the very least. Don't get me wrong but for a club that made a profit of 32M Euros last year take off the Neymar deal from an increase in that and well, where does their money for transfer purposes this summer come from?? It is obvious that Qatar is pumping a considerable amount of money into Barcelona in some shape or form or they wouldn't be able to buy players without failing FFP.... Or they are basically fiddling the books!

Or they may be banking on our £200M bid for Messi ??

Sadly this is so true, whether its manu, bayern, chelsea, arsenal, barca, or real, (and liverpool the next time they qualify so next year then).

At least in our domestic league we try and share the money amongst all the sides, its nowhere near perfect, but its better than most.

While a terrific defender & irrespective of his error today, he showed over the course of the tie that he isn't at the level needed at CB for Barcelona which works out well for you lot anyway

The only players I knew going into the tie that were of Barcelona quality both proved to be every bit as good as I know them to be - Silva & Yaya...Kun was injured but is otherwise fantastic...although I saw plenty of him in La Liga and Argentina to know he runs hot/cold

If a central defender for Barcelona was responsible for 2 goals in a big match, he'd never have much of a career at the club...That's the difference, playing for Barcelona

Brilliant answer, I am a Barca fan but the line of argument of Kompany not good enough for Barca is insincere. He is beta than any defender we have.
