I think thats the PERFECT XI for this match with the players available. I love the inclusion of Milner over Navas, Milner will add some much needed pressure on the ball, while proving he can score big goals in big matches (bayern). I was worried (before I saw the Wigan starting XI) that Clichy may get in the squad over AK13. Kolorov has been one of our best players this year and we're gunna need him to fire in some of those deadly left footed laser beams to have a chance.

Hopefully Lescott will rise to the occasion and play the way he played during the title winning campaign. i know he's had a dip in form the last two years but seeing him next to Vinny puts my mind (slightly more) at ease then seeing MDM or God forbid Garcia at CB.

We need to be firing on all cylinders and as many people have said an early goal would be just what the doctor ordered. Fernandhino will be HUGE if we pull this off. A 3-1 win is not out of the realm of possibility. Or possibly a 2-0 win and advancing in PKs. I dont like our chances in a PK shoot out with them tho.

45 mins until kick-off and my heart is already pounding. Would do anything to be at the Nou Camp right now.

Oh and btw, a few lucky bounces/ or questionable calls from the officials our way wouldn't hurt either. We need a lot to go right, and have a tin margin of error.

Since they will have the refs in their pockets, they won't allow us to just edge them by a thin margin.
It will have to be a proper trashing ala Bayern2013.
I just hope we won't be denied clear pens or artificial offside goals.

refereed Euro 2012 semi between Italy and Germany, refereed 4 CL matches so far this season with 14 yellows, 1 red and 1 penalty. Averages between 3 to 4 yellows per game. Refereed England v Germany in the autumn, has also refereed PSG v Monaco in the French League, refereed Barca's win over Celtic in the Group Stages as well, as well as Chelsea's defeat to Basel :/, did however referee our 2-0 win over Bayern a couple of years ago in the CL.
