This, for me, is our strongest XI. Is it the first time we've seen it this season?

Barca playing a VERY strong XI as well. Hopefully Joe won't have much to do (I emphasize hopefully), but if he does we're going to need him to come up huge.

I'm going to get hammered for this but Lescott is not up to this standard of opponent. He will lose the ball cheaply in dangerous areas. We have no alternative but he is our weak link today.

I cannot see a good outcome today but I hope we make a game of it.

BELIEVE !! Ive got a good feeling wouldnt it be typical city to lose to wigan then go beat barca and go through.. Keep the FAITH everyone ...

THIS should be the eleven chosen for United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Everton away, with Navas coming off the bench if were chasing the game.

Perfect balance.
Definiely, if the players stay fit (finger crossed) this is what I'd play in all the big games for the rest of the season.

I don;t necessarily keep track, but for many of our matches we've lined up with 2 strikers, and Lescott hasn't been in the XI with Kompany too often this season, plus the injuries to Kun, so it very well could be the first time we've played this XI.
