If anybody has been or has any info on how to get tickets differently etc could you please send me a PM? Cheers.
We went to their derby (against Espanol). We were offered tickets at little booths on La Rambla for £120+. The guy was a complete arsehole, you could just tell he was at it. He fed us all sorts of lies about the game being sold out and his tickets being cheaper than anyone else's. In the end, rather than line his pockets, we decided to take our chances and go to the ground on the day of the match. To be honest, we thought we'd fail but wanted to see the ground anyway.

We walked up to the ticket desk, paid about £60 for great seats on the 3rd tier behind the goal. We could have paid more and got better seats, or a bit less for not-so-good ones. We didn't even have to show ID (we had to show passports to get tickets to Lazio.

The pound is on it's arse at the moment, which makes 60 Euros a lot for a footie ticket. Apart from that it couldn't have been easier.

Cheers mate, I might wait like 2 years so I'm 18 and can go on the lash with mates etc. They are having their ground done up on the outside a bit like Bayern Munchen's ground which should hopefully be done by then, I'm sure it would be worth the wait. However, I might not get to see Messi and Iniesta etc. because they will be playing for City by then of course :p

What a bonus, me and the family are in Santa Susanna 45 minutes up the coast from Barcelona on that date. My kids first away game at the Camp Nou. Fecking fantastic.....

Re: Barcelona Friendly ? at Nou Camp

I'm bemused by this decision. We have games against Blackburn and Wolves either side of it and have now compromised what appeared to be a pretty easy start to the season by choosing to play 3 games in a week with travelling in the process. Why???????? With so many new signings, and not enough time for them to all gel during pre-season, we were always going to be playing like strangers fo the first few games, but now we've gone and made it even more difficult for ourselves. If we mess up our first 3 games, we then have Arsenal and the rags.

If this was a true PRE-season game, then it would be great news, but it doesn't preceed the season at all. It's pointless and hinders us.

We would have played everton anyway. This is a big chance for us to further improve our relations with Barcalona, nothing wrong with that to me, and its a great excuse for our fans to get to see city play at the Camp Nou.

Dont see it that way. A lot of our players have missed a lot of the pre season due to internationals , signing late, injuries etc, new signing to come ?.. This is ideal, to fit in another game to bring them up to the levels we neeed as quickly as possible. It should help us in later games in my humble opinion. We only have 3 or 4 games now until the big KO and with the size of our squad this game will give a few more a change to get up to fitmess

But i saw the Everton game being postponed as an advantage. We could have had a full week to prepare for the Wolves game knowing that they have had to play midweek. You might respond by saying "it's only wolves" or something like that, but we can't take them for granted. The newly promoted sides are tricky to play against at the start of the season when they are running on pure adrenaline. As i said, if this was a pre-season game, i'd be buzzing about it, but it isn't. It's only the Premier League that i'm ultimately concerned with, and this friendly only hampers us in my opinion.
