More than how City starts the match, I'm curious how my team will respond from the off after a mediocre 2nd half in England...First 20 minutes will set the tone even though quick starts haven't been the hallmark of Lucho's team so far

We need to score twice without reply to go through over 90 minutes.

Mediocre by first half standards maybe , we did have some chances in the second half but if the penalty was put away we would have to score three without reply and a lot of our small chance to go through wouldn't be part of the dinner conversation in either country this evening.

You only have to respond the way you did last year at home , you will have the lion share of possession in our half.

Joe and our back four will have to play out of their skins tonight and somehow catch you on the break with pace and finish clinically without reply for us to go through.

The reality of a 2-1 win for us and extra time is as we say in Australia buckleys and none.

You will either win comfortably over the two legs or that miracle of miracles over 90 minutes that happens once in 10's of bluemoon's will occur.

Kolarov is a certainty to score tonight......he's scored in all our our CL campaigns so far barring this one and guaranteed a start too, might be worth a cheeky bet.

I would think it will have to be Milner down the left side, purely to protect Kolarov (unless he plays Sagna or Zaba at LB). I would be tempted to put Navas down the right side but I think he'll start with Nasri and put Navas on (around 60 mins ffs) if it isnt working. This team should be able to stand toe to toe with anyone -

------------Hart
Zaba--Kompany-Mangala-Kolarov
---Fernandinho---Yaya
Nasri-------Silva------Milner
-----Aguerooooooooooo

I think Silva will play just behind Sergio....or I hope so anyway. Fucking come on City.

The midfield will leave bags of space with those 2..

•••••••••••••Hart•••••••••••••••

Zaba•Kompany•Mangala•Kolarov

•Milner•Fernandinho•Fernando•

Sit back play over top and down the channels with passes from Silva/YAYA plus have YAYA doing those runs which scares teams to death...

It's not gonna work with Barca. Plus we have to chase the game on aggregate. Need players like nasri to provide certain spark or magic. It's a risk but something we have to do. And yaya seem to enjoy playing with nasri, maybe that will give him motivation if playing his old club isn't enough.

We can change it in second half, we can't afford to concede early even though we would still need to score 2 at least, I feel an early goal will knock confidence to our players..

I thought we had a chance last week, but not feeling confident now it's and hour away. Please city, let's show up for once in this competition.

An hour , have the clocks gone back again (LOL).

Thought we would be seeing our side in aprox 35 minutes , getting excited now.

Nervy about Saturday but excited about tonight.

Problem is those 3 in center mid can't pass a ball

All I want them to do is defend and hoof it down the channels or up Aguero ;)

Kolarov has been poor this season. Last season he made 10-12 assists if I am right comparing to this season's 0.

Hart
Zabaleta Kompany Demichelis Kolarov
Fernandinho Milner
Navas Yaya Silva
Aguero

We need to keep 11 on the pitch for the full match.

Win, lose or draw it should be entertaining. Would love it if City win.
