Fools are easily parted from their money as we have witnessed over the road since Gill/Ferguson left.

A top club that players want To play for have huge leverage in deals

Well good luck to them. I don't have an issue with it. I can assure you we will be doing some very underhand tactics ourselves. Barca are just always public with it.

With you 2 more years, give him a loyalty bonus at the end and can go back to Benfica.

However, I think he wants to play football somewhere else before Benfica.

Do people think we will pay Dortmund the full fee on their term when Bellingham wants only to join us?

Not a chance, same goes with Gvardiol , they will be signed on terms favorable to us.

I know Jude and Gvardiol would want us as 1st choice, but it reminds me of the Cucurella saga. In the end, he went to the highest bidder, but I am sure he would have loved to join us instead.
Anyway, I hope you are right, and we aren't paying 130m for Bellingham because that's not exactly favourable. With Gvardiol, I hope it doesn't become a bidding war since there are a few teams interested in him. I hope we can get it done at 80m and below.

The huge income is going to there debt! They haven’t got a pot to piss in! Unless they sell players! There is a wage cap also so before they buy they NEED to sell.

Not true , they have to sell player's/wages to meet the Spanish FA restrictions, that a big difference to been skint.
 
Barca wont pay more than 9m€ for a player this summer.. and thats Carrasco. All the rest will go for free, there's no chance of Laporte/Cancelo/Bernardo unless they loan him out for free the last week. I generally feel like there is no place for Laporte to go really.. and thats a bit sad if hes not 1st choice.

Yet they aren't in a good place financially already, plus going forward they've flogged a not-insignificant % of their future TV revenue.

I wonder how he’d do as a DM next to Rodri in our 3421 formation. Stones had a few bad games as DM a year or two ago but he’s really flourished since. DM would play to Laporte’s strengths (ball progression, dictating play) and hopefully negate the weaknesses (lack of pace, wide areas). He’s been an excellent servant, would love to see him get another chance.

Barca say revenue last year totalled €1.017 billion, which allowed them to turn a profit for the first time since the pandemic.

1 billion revenue????? Nothing suspicious about that at all.
 
So it sounds like Barca are now shutting down their tv studios and making 120 people unemployed ? They also are begging players to take pay cuts as they are still miles out on the La Liga FFP yet want to sign Bernardo Silva, Laporte and Gundogan? Seems legit
