Re: Sunderland pre match thread

Just been talking to my mate who is a Sunderland fan 'I live 35 miles from Sunderland' and he has just said he fears what might happen Weds, if we had won today there was always a chance it would be the 'after mayors show' and we could slip up, he now thinks they are about to feel the backlash, here is hoping.

I think after today's results this has 1-0 to us written all over it.

I would love us to smash this lot though, I want us to score over 100 goals this season and we are only 17 off breaking Chelsea's record.

Even if we don't win the league at least go out on a bang scoring a shed load!

That's quite optimistic for you Sam to be fair ;-)

Re: Sunderland pre match thread

It has been pointed out numerous times... But the ATMOSPHERE at the ground has to improve many fold... Act as a 12th man... Played a factor today with the referee almost afraid to call suarez dive...

Sick of playing cowards.

What I want to see;

No idea why we dropped Pantilimon for Hart. We looked solid at the back with Pant in net. Clichy, Dzeko and Hart are bottlers and Kompany needs dropping. Hope Nastasic is back.

However, Pelle won't have the balls for the changes so expect more of Dzeko etc.

You sir are grade A

Is it cretin the word you are looking for??

Re: Sunderland pre match thread

Still one game at a time - win on Wednesday that is all - let the weekend games look after themselves and see where we are next Sunday night.

Never give up!

Let's see how we fare without yaya ! Could be a blessing in disguise

He was up for a couple o' twenty yard signature free kicks, too!
Yes noticed that, there was one when Coutinho hacked down Dzeko. Pity Yaya wasnt there to take it.

Re: Sunderland pre match thread

this is my first time posting here and im a chelsea fan from canada. just want to say that i watched todays game hoping for a draw so that both teams dropped points. i think u guys were by far the better team for most the game today and were unlucky with some calls (suarez diving when he was on a second yellow, skrtel handball and his nonstop shirt pulling).really hope if we dont win the title that u guys do. youve played the best football over the whole season, even though pool fans r claiming they have the most exciting team the premier league has ever seen and the journalist and pundits here are not helping. on top of that the city fans here on this side of the pond r proper city fans that have been following city before u got the money, yet like some of our fans they get mocked and ridiculed non stop by arsenal, liverpool and manu fans here that have no real connection to the club, yet rub it in about their history as if they were there to witness their past glory days. I know most of u guys here cant stomach jose winning the prem but if it makes u feel better hes done it before and has won many titles in his career, i doubt one more would make him more unbearable for u guys than he already is.

On another note, after watching todays game i'm fully convinced that silva is the best playmaker in the world at the moment and was the best player on the pitch today by a mile, that includes suarez who im begining to think can only smash the likes of norwich, cardiff and westbrom. i really hope oscar in a few years time can reach silvas level in terms of controlling the game.

sorry if my grammar sucks

Re: Sunderland pre match thread
