Re: Sunderland pre match thread

Sunderland's next two games are us and Chelsea, Merson reckons they have to win one of those games otherwise they will be relegated so if true Sunderland will likely have to attack.

They always seem to give us a game Sunderland so I am not getting too over confident but I would like us to try and match Liverpool's current goal tally with our two games in hand.

I want us to break Chelsea's record.

The Beast will rediscover his form today. I'm 100% sure.

A chance to bounce back and really boost the goal difference.

Sunderland have to attack, so I believe we will rip them a new one and be 5 or 6.

Sergio hat-trick.

You're due to get one right mate, every time you predict City will coast we invariably don't !!
Let's hope we do tonight!! :)

Not sure where you get that from, I predicted 5-0 against Fulham only the other week.

And 4-1 against Southampton if I'm not mistaken.

Re: Sunderland pre match thread

I don't bother with streams since i found out about the satellite channel "DIEMA". They show loads of live football including tonight's Sunderland game. Its easy enough to get in the UK, if you know how and its free.

Re: Sunderland pre match thread

Please everyone join in the songs tonight. Please. I'm guessing a load more tourists again like the Southampton game (joke of an atmosphere) - must be an Easter holiday thing? So those of us regulars who are turning up need to be even better.

Elaborate?

Re: Sunderland pre match thread

This has a similar feel to the West Brom home game from a couple of seasons ago when we were going into it on the back of the defeat at Arsenal which saw us fall 8 points behind United. The situation isn't quite as bad as that of course due to the 2 games in hand but there are 2 less games left for Liverpool and Chelsea to drop points in compared to United back then.

I'm surprised Sunderland are where they are because Poyet looked more than capable of dragging them away from the mire so this is by no means a gimme. Having said that, all those defeats on the bounce will have knocked a lot of confidence out of them. They'll surely come out and try to give it a go rather than park the bus as a draw does them no favours when you look at their remaining fixtures.

We need to be professional and deal with them better than we did in the previous 2 games this season.

That's not like you! ;)

With you though, bogey team over recent seasons and they need a result so not counting chickens etc. Think we will show character and win this though. Sunderland seem clueless as to how they want to play. Just need to control things from the offset and keep concentration. I'm less looking at it as should win than must win. Nothing less. No excuses anymore, we have to win this game and I think we will despite what is at stake for them.

Re: Sunderland pre match thread

point a dish to 39 east and connect it to a dreambox receiver, which i bought for £40, there's a book on amazon "beginners guide to watching live football on satellite" that tells all the setup details. You can get loads of games and the three o'clock ones that get shown in bars in Spain. not sure if I'm allowed to include a link.
