Still a valuable squad member but he will not feature much in the Champions League, the contract offer sounds like a no brainer.

He`d be what in a couple of years 33/34 and then still earning a good pay in the States.As you say a no brainer,for all concerned.

It a good deal in theory but to say its a no brainer is a bit much. What if Barry doesn't want to go to the US? I do hope he stays though, he's an excellent squad option to have.
