Barry

He gave away the ball for the goal due to him trying a silly pass but he played really well otherwise and was very strong in the tackle. I think as with Wigan we should have put it to bed first half with all the chances we had but hey ho, we will be stronger for this result. Well done GazBaz and Yaya

Barry had a good game, its just his silly mistake led to a goal. I just wish Nasri would have taken the guys feet out and taken a yellow card for the team. He kinda just let the guy drift past him.

I agree with the overwhelming majority on here, namely that Barry had a good solid game. Ordinarily you wouldn't expect a missed pass in midfield to lead to a goal. If anyone was a tad sloppy it was Mr.Reliability (VK) although he did redeem himself with that goal-line clearance. Tevez is not yet physically or mentally ready for tough games.

Barry may have made the mistake that lead to Napoli's goal, but I think he has started this season particularly well. Personally, I can't wait for de Jong to return 'coz I think him and Yaya work well together. A number of occasions we left Kompany and Lescott in difficulties but Napoli are a quality side.

At HT, Gareth Barry led the team in passes completion percentage. He was our most stellar and cool player on the ball. Mistakes happen. If Silva had attempted the backheel and made the mistake we wouldn't be saying anything but that it was a bad mistake with an awful consequence. Personally I think Hart should have stood Cavani up, world class keepers don't get nutmegged. But overall both Hart and Barry showed well.

Well I thought Barry and Yaya were our two best players on the night. I'ts funny how people can watch the same game and come away with a completely different opinion of things, always makes me smile.

I agree shame about barrys error but he worked his tripe off. Also thought lescott did well
