I accidentally boycotted that place for years because I got it mixed up with the Nags Head whose owner saw his arse and shut when we had a parade haha

Couldn’t really blame him for closing a pub full of rag memorabilia on a day that tens of thousands of blues were on the piss in that part of town.

It is on High Street just behind Mackie Mayor which is at the top end of Great Ancoats Street (ie the same area as Band on the Wall.)

Not that one. NQ means Northern Quarter itself. Noi Quattros is behind Mackie Mayor.

But you can get cask and keg beer in craft ale places in town.
With the cost of living these days cask is usually £1.50 to £2 cheaper.

From Rochdale Road on to Shudehill, turn left on to New George Street just after the Crowne Plaza and it's at the top straight ahead of you (big NQ sign).
