Think all the focus on the number of passes v a disinterested Chelsea has altered the muscle-memory of some of the players. Passing backwards and sideways for no reason other than to clock up another pass for the sake of it. We need to forget about pass tallys and just attack. Zinchenko and Danilo in particular were passing back to the keeper under no pressure. Just pointless. Yes, it's a dead rubber game, but these are things we don't want to become habits. We should still play in the style we are known for, regardless of the score line or opposition. We don't want to start playing too passive just to boost stats.

No issue with the result,main thing was no injuries and we saved a lot of legs. We can't be too critical with performances as I think the message from Pep was clear, retain possession, nothing crazy and see the game out.there's also the fact that the teams syncronisity is severely hit with so many changes. Having said that, its pretty clear we have a defined starting team with a noticeable drop in quality behind them and nobody other than Bernardo pushing to be included in the starting 11.
Special shout out to the stewards and GMP who did absolutely nothing and simply stood to the side and watched as we was completely peppered by coins for most of the game. Aren't they there to ensure our safety? I certainly didn't feel safe as I was forced to stick my hood up and stand at an angle just to protect my face. And thats without mentioning their fans openly smoking throughout and countless flares. If we behaved like that abroad we would get the absolute shit kicked out of us by the police

Really? You know that for sure? Peps a winner and doesn like losing. What he really wont like is players dropping their levels which is why he's the best manager on the planet. Full 11, we can win the competition yet I'm sure Pep would like to have more confidence if some of those players are relied upon should injuries/ suspensions occur. It's rare I criticise these days, no need to, if it's warranted I will though.He won't be happy but he won't be overly critical or worried either.

Stones and Laporte were crap. Stones since his return from injury has come back a different player, no confidence on the ball, lack of concentration and shite passing.
Laporte was not much better and was at fault for the second goal.
