Can you name me a few places, where we can drink after the game tomorrow? Are there any pubs or clubs that are open longer than 12 pm? Thanks a lot.

Ederson

Danilo
Stones
Laporte
Delph

Gundogan

Foden
Silva

Bernardo
Jesus
Sané

Some rest for KDB, Kompany, Otamendi, Walker and Agüero.

Some game time for Stones, Laporte, Jesus and Delph.

It will be a strong team, a few changes from sunday depending on whos fit but i don't see the likes of Foden starting, maybe he gets 30 minutes if we can take the lead but Pep won't risk it even if that risk is minute. Once the league is mathematically won we will see more of the fringe players in the league and champions league will be full strength every game.

Ederson
Danilo
Stones
Laporte
Zinchenko
Gundogan
Silva
KDB
Bernardo
Sane
Jesus

Bravo, Delph, Kompany, Foden, yaya, Sterling, Aguero

Merlin with family and Sterling and Fernandinho not starters so:

Ederson
Danilo Stones Laporte Zinchenko
Gundogan
Bernardo KDB Foden Sane
Jesus

Bench: Bravo, Aguero, Yaya, Kompany, Walker, Delph, (Sterling)

Plenty in the Northern Quarter open late. Not a football crowd so you'll not need to worry. Not that City worry about things like that. It's about a mile from the ground. As has been posted, Hula Tiki is open late there. Walrus should be. Black dog ball room is open till 4am. Beer, pizza, pool. All in the Northern Quarter. These are bars you'll get in no problems if not in a big group. If so just split for entry. Normal get up is fine. Central MANCHESTER, Albert Schloss & Revolution de Cuba are open till two, Liars club open till 4. Oxford road is full of student places, open late and will be cheap in the week. If you need any more to go on, or something specific just pm me.

Can't add to the advice you have been given.

Can you tell me how many Basle fans are expected? The game looks like it will be sold out which is a big surprise to me considering the scoreline

Have a good time. If you want to get back into Manchester after the game, there are buses lined up on the main road after. They go straight to manchester City centre. It is about £2. Bus No. 216. Takes about 10 mins when you are on the bus, and about 10 mins to queue. If you walk it will take about 25 minutes.

Loads of good places in the northern quarter, not far from ground.

Further into town Albert schloss is open late and has live music and is lively.

Have a good time

Does anyone here get the tram to Ashton after matches? how long is the wait to get on a tram after the game?

Usually park at the ground, would like to know if its any quicker

Okay haven't had the chance to read through all of this thread so apologies if I have missed the answer to the question I'm about to ask? What's the ticket situation for tomorrow night. I know they are on general sale but is a healthy crowd looking on. I was going to roll down to the ticket office tomorrow afternoon and try and pick up one for myself.

Finally back in Manchester with the Swiss missus in tow. We’ve already had a few chats with Basel supporters just travelling from Piccadilly. Most are not (unsurprisingly) very optimistic about tomorrow but I have quite a bit of respect for them making the journey still.

Looking forward to watching our youngsters (and Yaya) play tomorrow. Hopefully our “flow” is not distrusted too much by the changes tomorrow night or in the next few matches.

Is it normal for so many academy players to train with them pre champions league or any other game?
Looked plenty in the training video.
Wasnt sure if pep was seeing if any of them are deserving of a spot on the bench or just to up the numbers

Thanks a lot for all your answers. Looks like we will be fine.

As far as I heard: first and second tiers are sold out. I am expecting the third tier being half full... I don't know how much people that would be?

David Silva, Fernandinho and Fabian Delph have not trained today, but Benjamin Mendy and Raheem Sterling have.

David Silva didn't train today because he is in Valencia, and he will return to Manchester later this week. [@10JoseAlvarez]
