Baseless speculation Iheanacho/Bony

There does seem a difficulty that Bony cannot fit into City's style of play. There does seem an irregularity that Bony is selected ahead of Nacho.

Edin has 12 goals in his last 48 league matches. Bony has 15 in his last 51. Not much difference between the pair of them. Dzeko had some amazing moments, but I think people are forgetting just how disinterested he was in his last 12-18 months at City.

What was his record for us?

Bony has replaced AK as the worst player in blue competition, judged by me.

An absolute disgrace of a player, utter dogshit, and Manuel should be ashamed to be letting him in the field ahead of Ian.

The only people who are defending Bony are either just doing it in the interests of 'balance' or are just supporting the team as a collective. The guy was quite prolific at Swansea. So he's either completely fucking lost the plot confidence wise or he just doesn't give a fuck. Whatever the reason, not one person can say he is contributing in any way shape or form to our team. I personally think he is shit, in fact just the way he walks back on for the second half is pissing me of tbh, so i need to take a chill pill.

He is just not good enough in this company and he knows it.

Painful to watch him being put in the spotlight like today when we really dont have to only to drag his arse off and add further to his misery.

Something not quite right maybe the illness I don't know. But if you are Pellers and see you Kelechi score that goal in training and you still play Bony who has not scored since December all a bit odd.

People are always trying to knock Bony but they forget the good he has done here. He's a terrible player but his dance moves are next level

Twenty eight million fucking pounds; they saw us coming.

Its not that simple mate. We all saw him play for Swansea and not many moaned about his signing at the time thinking we had got a real player.

His illness hasn't helped and fuck knows,we might still have the player we thought we got come next season under pep but right now, it a complete mystery as to why he gets selected it really is.

I just think he knows he is out of his depth and is completely shot confidence wise but again, why is he getting picked if that's the case as a manager needs to see that and react accordingly.

It's also that you can see the other players think he's shite too, hence no chemistry and link up cos they expect him to not move. I watched him quite closely today and his lack of energy and movement was a disgrace, he barely fucking moved.

Fair points. Have to say though; it's hard to see him ever coming good for us, even under Pep. As you intimate, he's lost out on the pitch. If we get a chance to cut our losses on him, we should jump at the chance.

Agree completely. The body language, pace and intensity change when he went off and we introduced Yaya and KdB was so marked its untrue.

A manager needs to see a struggling player like this and protect him and the side and he should be nowhere near the first team right now.

I'm with you mate unfortunately.

Pep isn't going to touch him with a ten foot pole.
