The Doors all day every day. Lots just know them for break on through or light my fire. But these wernt even nearly the greatest songs they did. Spanish caravan, peace frog, Indian summer, la woman. The doors did many more and covered some greats like gloria etc
They are my favourite band ever. They got me through some very very dark days and there isn't a song they did that couldn't match the mood you were in and make it better
Same as this gentleman, my favourite band so it's The Doors for me!
I actually got arrested by the gendarme stationed at Jim Morrison's grave in Paris when I was a young buck, for acting the ****, and banned from the Pere Le Chaise cemetary where he's buried (I've been back since though & they don't seem to remember me)! ;-)
I'm a little older these days, (not necessarily wiser), but certainly more chilled out, so I thought I'd post this little nugget which is a personal favourite of mine (their jazz version of Queen of the Highway from Morrison Hotel). Maybe not to everyone's tastes, but it demonstrates just how musically gifted the individual members of the band were, what with them being classically trained musicians.

Oh, and I agree with Bob, their version of Van Morrison's "Gloria" is also a gem!
