I watched the game in tib street tavern, lots of City fans relaxed and a few united fans absolutely desperately begging for a united win. At 4 nil it was like a funeral for some of them!

If you went to the pub on a wednesday night with your mates at 4 nil you'd just enjoy your drink with your mates wouldn't you?

Handball used to be "deliberate", it's spoiling the game, one of many things.

I think the Upamecano handball was deliberate. Akanji’s very much wasn’t (and was from a deflection off his foot).

Whether we win it or not it feels like an inevitably that we are winning one, and then one or two more, very soon. We manage these games so well now. Ultimately it's a cup competition against the best teams in the world, so mad things happen, but we look like like we belong and with confidence, we look savvy and street wise.
