Where would you play him? Can’t defend so Ake stays, doesn’t take people on going forward so Grealish stays. He would just warm the bench.

Slightly lower down the bin in my opinion. The cunts in the Milner bin for me.
Not sure that's totally correct. The second leg was always going to be awkward with a 3-0 lead. I think being caught in two minds how to play it hindered us. Obviously we wanted to be cautious and not over commit as we led 3-0. By contrast Bayern had nothing to lose so they had to go on all out attack. In the second half we managed the game better but I'll agree we have to be able to hold onto the ball more and take the sting out of the game more convincingly
We're at the sharp end of the
world's best competition and we're going to suffer at some point in games, just like Bayern did at our place. Both penalties were ridiculous, imagine losing to a decision like that, shocking and the rule needs changing.
Madrid are better than Bayern. They are great at game management and have match winners all over. They have that knack of turning games around from nothing too, as we found out to our cost last season. We'll need to be at our best and the Gods with us to prevail.
It's official...
Tuchel is an arse.
At the start of the interview, he was chewing something - presumably sour grapes.Tommy Twocells really is an 'orrible little man. A face only a wife could love.....ooops.
Disagree. First leg is “normally” close. Id rather they played at home first leg with something to lose. That way worst case we come away with a 1 goal deficit which we should be able to overturn and a clear awareness of what we need.
The idea of rolling madrid over in the first leg such that the second leg is a non contest is so wide of the mark.
When they had nothing to lose at home last season they pressured us and made us shit the bed. They dont do that to us at the etihad and they dont do that to us in a first leg either.
Yeah last year it was tough, but they had the rub of the green. They could've easily lost to Chelsea, Us and the dippers and they couldn't have complained.
It's funny that they get to play the same teams this season too just a different order, and hopefully it'll end differently for them too.
As for having a tough draw, if we get to the final by beating BM and RM then that's as tough as it gets.
Rob Holding is already having very sloppy bowel movements.Zinchenko and Saliba are out for them, these things happen.
As a club we have bent over backwards for him, let's not forget his early form was terrible and his attitude even worse.
He ran into form and his standing in football rose accordingly, the club rewarded him with a huge new contract and in return he went MIA and spat his dummy out as soon as things turned against him.
To celebrate your parent club missing a penalty is crass and ignorant, even more so with the score line of his loan club were at.
His attitude and petulance will haunt him long after his career is done, and for me he is already done as a top player.
Real Madrid do not have a superior attack. They are actually easier to prepare for because they do not have as much pace and we know exactly how they will line up. We will beat them easily with ErlingWe can flip it both ways. City were six inches away from Bayern reducing the deficit by two goals inside the first half hour.
It was a chasing because our flanks couldn't cope with their runners, hence why Pep says he changed it at the break to ensure Grealish and Bernie played closer to our back line.
Our midfield was wide open because Stones couldn't make up the extra man, having to run back all the time.
It was a chasing in terms of what City are usually exposed to.
Bayern are certainly a top team but I am under no illusions, we were not allowed to play well for long periods and a superior attack such as Real's will only cause us bigger issues if we go again with the same formation.
It came off Akanji's foot onto his arm.The way I see it. Where were Upam ecano's hands/arms when the ball was kicked? They were behind his back. Where was his elbow when it made contact with the ball? At least 6 inches away from his body. Pen all day. There's was a bit more subjective. Although Akanji had his arm in the air, it was for balance. The ball was kicked from a couple of foot against it. Pen, although its the rule thats wrong.
And a classless one at that - fkin prick! Should never be allowed to set foot in our club ever again!Proper little ****.
Fuck him right off to whoever will have him.
We rolled over Bayern in the first leg and made the second essentially a non-contest.
Bayern are better than Real.
So did Cancelo, hope he never darkens our corridors againHad to laugh at the Bayern fans at the penalty miss. They celebrated as if they’d just gone 4-0 up deep into injury time.
