I said at HT I felt they had been the better team so far and that it was the combination of great defending and a wonder goal that had us infront - fine margins - and that Pep will have to tweak things to try to get more control. Then in his post match interview, Pep said that for the first 50-55 mins they were the better team, and that we then changed something and could press better and have more control. I have never felt more Pep. I might go bald.

But to go full pep you have to have the brain fart as well

Amazing team effort. When you win 3-0, you might think we were an offensive machine, but truly the result and the game was possible thanks to our defense. Every individual duel was won, great pressing from the entire team, all the second balls won, and we were always calmed from the back.

This is what some people don't get, we are an even better team than centurions, because we are way more difficult to beat. Before we either destroyed the opposition or lose by stupid decisions. Now, I always think we are gonna control and win the game. With the exception of Tottenham (our bogey team), I think we have been superior against every single elite team for the las 3 years (Madrid, Chelsea, Bayern, PSG, Liverpool, Dortmund, Leipzig, Arsenal, ManU...). Simply the best team England has ever seen, and the best in Europe in the las 5 years.

It was quite funny to be fair. That was our second season in CL if I remember rightly.

Probably thee best complete team performance I’ve ever seen , or what I can remember. Nothing more to add . I can’t think of a game ever when you can’t pick a motm .

First 60 minutes, I thought we was a little underwhelming, by no means playing badly but felt like they were imposing themselves onto us more than we were onto them. They're a very very good side you cannot expect to dominate the very best in Europe, so we defended magnificently, got the lead and dug in until we could wrestle control back and once we did, they were spent, rattled and we went for the kill. It was just superb execution of a gameplan and every single player on the pitch stood up to whatever was thrown at them.

Amazing result and now we just need to do a containment job over there and not shit the bed. Score and they need 4 just for extra time. Give me a boring 1-1 right now.

Said last week I feared bayern more than I would fear madrid, I think we are much better suited to play madrid, huge step towards eliminating our main threat tonight and will send fear across the league and europe. what a result.
