Small sample size but agreed. Almost got a pretty little slip pass through to Haaland.

Good showings from Rico, Cancelo, Kovacic and Walker. Youngsters Bobb and Perrone both did ok, but McAtee a bit disappointing. Alvarez and Grealish both need a shot up the arse. Barely involved

First half was a great watch, second half not so much. Rico Lewis was the standout, kovacic not far behind and sliding into the midfield nicely as expected, love his movement to free himself foe the return the second he releases the ball. Mcatee despite scoring just not getting himself involved anywhere near enough. Good workout, hopefully the ake injury was simply precautionary, it didn't look like much more than that.

Special shout out to the pocket of fans who made themselves heard with the rendition of city songs throughout. they made more noise in that 90 minutes than the entire Colin bell stand did all last season

Kovacic was very good today, looks like he's played with us for years. Walker again was amazing. Lewis very controlled and confident. Cancelo had a great game also

Agree that McAtee looks like he needs another year on loan

The squad looks great. If we can hang on to Bernardo and Walker I think we only need to bring a winger along with Gvardiol (if Laporte and Mahrez do leave)
