Like most I'm gutted, no shame in defeat to a great Bayern side, but it was the manner in which it came. I feel there is more than enough CL experience in the side to have had a good go at them, but at times we just looked a bit spineless, and it was that for me that I found hard to take. Like some have already posted, it's a learning curve and I hope we indeed learn and push on. Hart and Richards had good games, but to many of our players looked a bit rabbit caught in the headlights. We just need to up the pace a bit and be a bit more cynical, and tevez well enough said.

Don't normally moan about refs but we should have had 2 penalties before they had even had a shot on target (if I recall) and the linesman wasn't much better - gave obvious throws for us to them and somehow didn't see that the ball had crossed the line for a corner down the right when Aguero knocked it off Van Buyten...
Dzeko should have buried his chance early on as well. Shocking effort.
Poor defending for the goals and a poor second half.
We really need to beat Villarreal twice and get 3 points from either Napoli away and Bayern at home.

you have to laugh at the comedian who made us one of the favourites to win the champs league in our first year. Tonight showed we are way behind the leading europeans clubs. Very very disappointed with Mancini, no other coach in the world would take off a powerful forward and put a defensive midfielder in when you are two down. No wonder Dzeko was upset. I bet the Bayern coach couldn't believe it either.
