Hmmm very interesting game, matched them for most of the first half and even looked the better team for large parts but then.......two goals after some shameful defending and it implodes.
This became a test of mental strength, a test of team spirit and togetherness but the team never looked like a team as they have in previous games this season. Half time team talk obviously did not do much and the first substitution seemed to be the nails in the coffin. Tevez reaction if true was a disgrace but dont know what the manager is playing at with the first substitution? Tevez should have been on for Dzeko as he was not pressing very well and did not look that sharp, the shot from Richards cross in the first half was a great opportunity and he just did not put his foot through it with any conviction.
Got to regroup for Blackburn match otherwise we are all going to get a very nasty shock indeed and frankly that game is always going to be more important than this one. First priority is the league but absolutely gutted about the way this result has happened.
