The referree did not do anything wrong. The penalty was after a clear handball - hand in the box and it is - and the offsides all were correct.

I fear they will resort to the time old tactic of kicking the shit out of him. Lets hope the refs give him just a modicum of protection.

How was Zaba supposed to get out of the way? He wasn't even looking at it.
 
Even though it was only a friendly, I'm gutted we haven't won because we were superb from start to finish. So many positives to take away from the game, Jovetic looked great in his little cameo, Negredo was excellent and I'm so happy the "first goal" monkey is off his back, Fernandinho super giving the midfield much more mobility and Navas tremendous speed and ability to beat his men at will. Nasri, Kompany, Boyata, Clichy and Milner take a bow boys top performances, especially Nasri.

Mr Pellegrini keep up the good work, because I'm very impressed so far.

Right I'm going to try and figure out if my tits are as big as Charlie Websters !.

Make no mistake, we are behind Bayern and will be for a while but we have the right manager I think and are building a squad that in the future could rival them. Finally, this is twice now we've been to FC Bayern United's ground in the last couple of years and had a positive flow ruined by very dodgy referee decisions. This was just a friendly so doesn't matter too much, but we've been treated like dirt by referees in Europe so far. Wolfgang Stark was very much the German making sure the German club won the German tournament tonight.

lots of positives, we now look like a very good counter attacking unit, negredo's movement in and around the box is fantastic, Kompany was superb and dont forget that was bayerns first XI who were ten days of pre season training ahead.

exciting times ahead.

Full of positives tonight, nice to see Pelli trying all his players out, thought we were very shakey at the back, whats the problem with Zab? Flanks wide open. If we pick the right mix we'll be ok, defo need a midfield General.

It HAS to be DELIBERATE.

The Boyata yellow for a perfect tackle and giving a free kick to your keeper when he was out of his goal and Yaya was lining up a shot into an empty goal. Plus a handful of other silly free kicks.

very pleased with tonight's performance from all that played.

a dodgy fookin ref ruined what should have been at least a draw for us over the 90 minutes.

3 weeks to go and we are looking well up for the start of the season :)
 
Media gonna hate.

We should have won tonight against a so called fitter team who are CL champs on their own pitch and we would have apart from the German Howard Webb and his iffy linesman.

We are shaping up to kick some serious ass this season.

How about the dodgy offsides decisions on several occasions?

It was shocking. German, Adidas sponsored linos, as well as the ref.
