Yes a great interview.
How was Zaba supposed to get out of the way? He wasn't even looking at it.Maldeika said:The referree did not do anything wrong. The penalty was after a clear handball - hand in the box and it is - and the offsides all were correct.
LoveCity said:I'm very happy with that performance. Bayern were very close to full strength, we weren't although strengthened our team in the second half by replacing Barry with Yaya. Navas adds real danger to our team, too. Kompany looked almost the best I have ever seen him tonight, anticipating and acting on everything with perfection. Boyata did well considering the high level of the opposition but should have gotten on to the cross that led to their second goal. Zaba was disappointing though.
Make no mistake, we are behind Bayern and will be for a while but we have the right manager I think and are building a squad that in the future could rival them. I think our squad could still be improved some, but it can't all be done in one window. Garcia and Barry being replaced by a third high caliber midfield option (with the developing Rodwell as the fourth) would help us a lot I think. Fernandinho and Yaya are both top drawer but after them there is a pretty big drop off.
Negredo played very well but lacked a clinical edge until his brilliant goal where he made Javi Martinez look second rate. Jovetic also looked very good again but was a little starved of the ball because Bayern had so much.
Finally, this is twice now we've been to FC Bayern United's ground in the last couple of years and had a positive flow ruined by very dodgy referee decisions. This was just a friendly so doesn't matter too much, but we've been treated like dirt by referees in Europe so far. Wolfgang Stark was very much the German making sure the German club won the German tournament tonight.

Ref screwed City, that's pretty clear. Bullshit offside calls.
But when the older players play together it still looks like Mancini is in charge. City has looked best when Navas and Jovetic are playing with Dzeko and Negredo.
couldn't have put it better... well said and pretty much bang on
Oh fuck off and read up what constitutes a hand ball.Maldeika said:The referree did not do anything wrong. The penalty was after a clear handball - hand in the box and it is - and the offsides all were correct.

It HAS to be DELIBERATE.
The Boyata yellow for a perfect tackle and giving a free kick to your keeper when he was out of his goal and Yaya was lining up a shot into an empty goal. Plus a handful of other silly free kicks.

And once again for emphasis as I truly believe it, with David Silva we would fucked Bayern twice over.
