I respect there football but not them
+1

+1 I despise Bayern as a club. They are a fantastic group of players though and Pep has taken them to another level again despite that seeming impossible. Still looking forward to tonight, one of the rare City games these days you expect to get nothing from (apart from Sunderland away). Come on blues, let's announce ourselves on the European scene once and for all and beat them and win the group!

I don't get it. Dislike I understand. Ditto for envy, but despise? They are the ultimate football club.

Run by fans for fans. A board that consists largely of former world class players with an attachment to the club going back to their youth. A club that looks after it's own and has produced countless world class players throughout its illustrious history.

Factor in a superb footballing team and a likable manager and I'm failing to see what there is to despise.

Probably the only 10/10 club in the world apart from Barca.

Their haughty arrogance and hypocrisy?

Some of their comments about City in recent years have been disgusting, typical holier-than-thou arrogance from football aristocracy.

Some of those comments about financial responsibility came from tax cheat Uli Hoeness.

They are probably the ultimate example of a club that is all smiles, but will do anything to crush the 'little man' once they threaten to share the same dining table.

So joe is playing tonight ? Would have played pantilimon to see how he copes with having his goal peppered to shit ;)

Great team, and no doubt great fans (though with an element of the sad glory hunters). However there appears from what I have read in the press from the likes of Hoeness a sneering attitude that clubs like City would try and improve ourselves by spending money as Bayern have relied on Champions League money and sponsorship to help maintain their dominance.
