I think we should play our strongest team and try to win and perhaps even top the group. Sod Arsenal - we can deal with them later.

Nothing would be worse than going into the Arsenal game having lost 8-0 in Munich.

I think we are in the minority mate, I posted something along those lines and there were no takers.. Hopefully Pell takes our view

I'm with you getting a good hiding from Munich will not install any confidence what so ever for Saturday or the next CL round. We need to let Europe know we mean business after the last 2 seasons failure.

I'm sure the players will want to put that right 2. Plus I would be pretty pissed of spending a shed load of cash just before Xmas to watch our reserves get mullered in Germany

Well, Arsenal surely have to be full strength tomorrow. They play Napoli away, with both Napoli and Dortmund 3pts behind them. Arsenal beat Napoli 2-0 at home, and their results against Dortmund were 2-1 (loss) and 1-0 (win), so I've been trying to figure out exactly what happens if Arsenal lose and Dortmund win with the head-to-head rule.

I'm with you lot....

I really hope that MP dosen't go all out attack with only two in the middle or it will be a long night. This is the time for the second string to show how good they really are. My heart says a draw but my head says 5 - 0.

I don't think he will, he switched to 1 up top against Chelsea away, i think we'll see the same today.

No matter the team picked tonight, it should be good enough not to get a hammering, however tonight's result will not affect the next round one little bit, because its over 2 months away, its shouldn't make any difference to Saturday either, because many of the players should not be involved tonight.

Those that have travelled will also know that Saturday is a more important game, and we should plan to make sure we are successful in that, whatever team we put out tonight we will not finish top of the group anyway, so why risk people by trying ?

Anyway I'm sure the decision is made by now, and we'll just have to take whatever it is, but there will rightly be some anger amongst the fans, if we play our strongest possible team, get beat anyway, and suffer injuries to key players.

If blown out, I don't expect we lose confidence, but rather play harder the next game to prove ourselves. I am hoping for a win, doesn't have to be by three goals, but a winning performance. Winning breeds winners, and we need to defeat a major continental side to boost our confidence going into the next round.
