Definitely in the match day squad, you'd think.

Garcia and Rodwell starting in CM?

So joe is playing tonight ? Would have played pantilimon to see how he copes with having his goal peppered to shit ;)
Think this is a good point,.

If he plans to use joe + a weakened team because he has Arsenal in mind then I'm not sure this is the right step in helping joe regain his confidence. Setting him up for a major fall here. I do think this is a chance to see Costel against very strong opposition and would be a good learning exercise

(Not saying for definite he will put out a second team )

+1 I despise Bayern as a club. They are a fantastic group of players though and Pep has taken them to another level again despite that seeming impossible. Still looking forward to tonight, one of the rare City games these days you expect to get nothing from (apart from Sunderland away). Come on blues, let's announce ourselves on the European scene once and for all and beat them and win the group!

I don't get it. Dislike I understand. Ditto for envy, but despise? They are the ultimate football club.

Run by fans for fans. A board that consists largely of former world class players with an attachment to the club going back to their youth. A club that looks after it's own and has produced countless world class players throughout its illustrious history.

Factor in a superb footballing team and a likable manager and I'm failing to see what there is to despise.

Probably the only 10/10 club in the world apart from Barca.

ultimate football club my arse.

Sour grapes and rag tendencies.. Now lets get back to the football instead of griping like girls ffs

I have the game as a draw. Think Joe will write a few wrongs tonight and have a good game. This is the test Joe needs. A good solid game with Kompany sitting in front of him and a more solid defence chances are he could get his place back full time if he does well. Something about Pants that concerns me a bit. He finds it hard to get down to shots close to his body at times. Being so tall it can be hard at times to a more agile keeper. Time for Joe to show Pelli what he can do and I fully expect him to be busy tonight.

I think we should play our strongest team and try to win and perhaps even top the group. Sod Arsenal - we can deal with them later.

Nothing would be worse than going into the Arsenal game having lost 8-0 in Munich.
