Fernandinho really shouldn't be playing in this farce, it seriously brings into question why we bother paying Jack Rodwell if he can't even be relied on. Need a replacement in January or Fernandinho will just collapse

This is the opportunity for a few of our players to prove they are good enough to be part of a squad challenging for European honours.

It will be an opportunity wasted. That team is dire. It's getting bent over with no lube.

Best chance it has is defend deep and play for set pieces on the counter.

This, I don't want to hear how they were fed to the wolves.

They're professional footballers playing in the Champions league, there's motivation and a chance for them to shine.

Müller - Götze - Kroos - Ribery
Mandzukic

I am annoyed we are playing Fernandinho, but that Bayern team will score at least 5 against us today!

Well you should be happy with that, its 35 less than you posted earlier in the thread... City wont get walloped tonight, they will be ok and give a good account of themselves.

Proof if ever any was needed that our squad isn't as deep as some think.

Bayern are without Martinez, Schweinsteiger, Badstuber and Robben and that lineup could still win the Premier League.

ooh eck. can't say I'm looking forward to that back four passing it around. big big test for micah as well.
