We looked like the under11s playing against the under13s in the first 25minutes. We couldn't string three passes together. We looked scared to death.

Then we scored.

Then we started playing with a bit of belief, kept the ball better and generally lifted our game. They'd taken their foot off the gas and - as can easily happen - they couldn't reach that level again once they'd relaxed and thought they'd already won.

5 in midfield was working as they played with a striker so it was 5 v 5 and we matched up well and had men to pass to in midfield for once.

In the first fifteen minutes of the second half we were excellent. Milner Fernadinho and Silva were exceptional. München started getting hold of the game a bit more from about 65minutes onwards but I was very pleased with the second half performance overall. We were so close to topping the group - Álvaro just didn't hit it right.

A bit of a strange interview at the end from Pellegrini. I think he got the translation of "of" wrong but he still went on to say getting another "two goals" when talking about bringing Silva off at 2-3 which was really weird! Surely they knew? Surely?!

Paris, Atléti, Barça or Madrid it is, possibly even Dortmund if they manage to top their group. The one team I do not want is Atléti who, for me, have been the most impressive team I've seen this season. They've played Barça twice (home and away) were the better team over two legs conceding just one goal, and played Madrid away and won 0-1 and were excellent.

Oh and put that up you Bayern - nowt aimed at their fans there (Maldieka and Bayern Blade are good posters on here!) but their boardroom staff are a bunch of cûnts with too much to say. So I enjoyed that win even if it didn't mean a great deal overall as we didn't get that fourth goal.
