We've just beat the best team in the world with our reserve team and people are debating whether Pellers understood the rules, and if he had whether bringing on Aguero would have made a difference anyway, YCNMIU.
It's worth talking about though, regardless. We all adore tonight's win but if he meant what he said, it's natural for people to pick up on it. You would if it was them over in Stratford.

FFS give it a rest and let us enjoy a top night. Fuck Stretford.

We would have been tied with the amount of goals scored had it been 4-2 ,5-2 would have us on top, MP was right.

We'd have scored 4 away goals to Bayerns 3 that would have put us top.
haha yea i had another look at the table and edited my response my fault.
But we nearly won it without putting Aguero on. My view is we stood the better chance of winning it defending at 3 -2 and breaking on them. With Aguero on probably would have ended up 3-3.

Classic rag media (win over Shakhtar > win over Bayern apparently), but nothing can demean our win tonight!

Fucking sickening that is. Let them Celebrate. Deluded Bastids.

Wow. The English media need to clean house. It's all fans posing as journalists.

It's not just me. Loads are saying the same thing and as I said, I'm enjoying the win. The poster was talking about why people are debating what pellers meant.

An absolutely wonderful, jaw dropping night to be a supporter of this fantastic Football Club.

Some wonderful, individual performances from Zabaleta, Fenrnandinho, Milner, Dzeko, Silva and my man of the match Demichelis.

Kolorov and Lescott got roasted in that first twenty minutes and then stood up to be counted like the experienced, seasoned Internationals they are. The much maligned Garcia did not put a foot wrong in the second half.

This Bayern side may be the best I have ever seen at playing that final, threatening ball into an opponents penalty area so its no wonder they have won so many games.

Well done City !

Marty man of the match! Maybe, maybe not. But he's a top player, terrific performance tonight, and some people on here should give him a break.

Oh dear.
Not much blue on display there considering we pulled off one of the results of the season.
Scruffy 1-0 rag home win v average Russian team gets the media juices going obviously...
Disgraceful!

Why have Plzen qualified after losing away 3-2 to CSKA but winning 2-1 at home.

Head to Head would men CSKA having scored 4 to Plzen's 3 mean it should have been them!

Perhaps Pellers was correct and Sky have it wrong.

4-4 so goes on away goals. Which is why we would have topped the group by scoring 4 away from home.

It is not 4-4 it is 4-3 in CSKA's favor

My bad, obviously I shouldn't be doing math either.
WTF does any of it have to do with us beating Bayern ? Nothing.

Silva, Milner the standout players

Thought Fernandinho and Garcia also did well.

That should banish the Garcia criticism can't play comments forever. Sadly it wont

This.

Many people dont understand that taking off a defensive player against a team like Bayern is suicidal when you look at their attacking options. Would more likely have ended 3-3 if we brought on Aguero than 4-2.

Really proud of City tonight. 7 first team players rested, 2 down away from home against a full strength Bayern Munich team who are the reigning European Champions and probably the best side on the planet right now... Come back to win 2-3... Brilliant fighting spirit... Bring on The Gunners!

I agree, Zaba committed the same mistake MDM made against Swansea and nobody is saying anything about Zaba's mistake. Everybody stepped up and played well in the end, this is a statement win, biggest win in our history and could be just what we needed to push forward an win the title

And if the linesman had done his job we'd have done it

if we're honest with ourselves, we know that Bayern took their foot off the gas thinking game was won, and once they had done that, they couldn't get their game together. But it's still a great result for City. One that will make fans all over Europe sit up and take notice

landmark night for City

Whatever happens in the next tie - which promises to be very difficult - we've done ourselves proud.
