It's worth talking about though, regardless. We all adore tonight's win but if he meant what he said, it's natural for people to pick up on it. You would if it was them over in Stratford.

We would have been tied with the amount of goals scored had it been 4-2 ,5-2 would have us on top, MP was right.

We'd have scored 4 away goals to Bayerns 3 that would have put us top.

But we nearly won it without putting Aguero on. My view is we stood the better chance of winning it defending at 3 -2 and breaking on them. With Aguero on probably would have ended up 3-3.

An absolutely wonderful, jaw dropping night to be a supporter of this fantastic Football Club.

Some wonderful, individual performances from Zabaleta, Fenrnandinho, Milner, Dzeko, Silva and my man of the match Demichelis.

Kolorov and Lescott got roasted in that first twenty minutes and then stood up to be counted like the experienced, seasoned Internationals they are. The much maligned Garcia did not put a foot wrong in the second half.

This Bayern side may be the best I have ever seen at playing that final, threatening ball into an opponents penalty area so its no wonder they have won so many games.

Well done City !

Marty man of the match! Maybe, maybe not. But he's a top player, terrific performance tonight, and some people on here should give him a break.

Why have Plzen qualified after losing away 3-2 to CSKA but winning 2-1 at home.

Head to Head would men CSKA having scored 4 to Plzen's 3 mean it should have been them!

Many people dont understand that taking off a defensive player against a team like Bayern is suicidal when you look at their attacking options. Would more likely have ended 3-3 if we brought on Aguero than 4-2.

I agree, Zaba committed the same mistake MDM made against Swansea and nobody is saying anything about Zaba's mistake. Everybody stepped up and played well in the end, this is a statement win, biggest win in our history and could be just what we needed to push forward an win the title

And if the linesman had done his job we'd have done it

if we're honest with ourselves, we know that Bayern took their foot off the gas thinking game was won, and once they had done that, they couldn't get their game together. But it's still a great result for City. One that will make fans all over Europe sit up and take notice
