BBC Radio 5 live on Saturday - Soundbites needed

I know there's already a thread about this but I wanted to make sure this didn't get lost. A few of us are appearing on 5 Live at 1pm in a debate with rag fans. We need some soundbites or punchlines to hit them with.

PB - should be good debate. I've not heard about this or been approached, but let the organisers know I'd be more than happy to get involved to put it all into perspective based on the history of Manc football etc.

I posted a few comments on another thread: <a class="postlink-local" href="http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=241547" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">viewtopic.php?f=1&t=241547</a>

But I'd be delighted to get involved and paint the true picture of Manchester football now and in the past - I hope they're interested. Plenty to say of course to ensure a balanced debate.

Steady on Gary, you get loads of opportunity to air your views. The last thing I want is a balanced debate, the scales are very firmly tipped in our balance at the moment. But because I love you if you send me a PM I'll give you the guy to contact in exchange for a visit to Swinton sometime soon.

Does anyone know the difference in prize money between getting through to the knockout stage and then getting knocked out of the last 16 - 8 - 4 - final etc and winning the Europa League?

United made 53m euros last year, 27m of which is knockout stage money.

Porto made something like 7.8m euros, about 6 of which was knockout money.

it goes something 200,000 euros for the last 32, 300,000 for last 16, 400,000 last 8, can't remember the semi's but it was 3,000,000 to the winner and 2,000,000 to the runner-up(euros) last year.

Alex, I'd love to guest at Swinton. I'll send a PM. 'loads of opportunity' - all I've done in 2011 is a few seconds on fivelive's breakfast show and a small bit on BBC worldservice. I don't get asked.

Nip nip, here come the piranhas ;-)

Amusingly, I now know who you are and you are rather a small, insignificant little piranha in the shoal. Oh yes, not contributing here for a while was an eye-opener all right. Some great stuff on Off Topic when you take the time to read.

So I'm going to call you minnow from now on, as you like nicknames so much.

OK, Minnow? Or do you prefer Maggot? I'm happy with either.
