BBC SPOTY | Team of the Year: CITY | Coach of the Year: GUARDIOLA | World Sport Star: HAALAND

I don't think anyone is ranting about women's football. It is who the bbc have chosen (to win it) that is pissing people off. 1 good game in a year does not make you a winner.
Yeah it isn't womens football its the woman chosen

Earps has done fuck all meaningful the full 12 month bar save one penalty, and the reaction and sell out of nike kits that they admitted they underproduced

Russo, Mead, Kelly, Bright, Willaims, Toone an a few other contributed a lot more to womens football the last year.

I would say her playing for the rags has helped the hype, but SPOTY? many other womens footballers are more deserving imho.

But equally, why is women’s football being recognized at all if there were no exceptional achievements this year? They were rightly recognized when they won the Euros. But can you imagine any other sports team/person in any other sport being nominated just for getting to the final of their world championship? That goes for the men’s team too. I sort of get it for teams punching above their weight. Like if Wales made it to the semi final or something. But England weren’t underdogs in this tournament.

Euro 2016 in France.

It’s quite popular to have more than one name amongst working class folk. On Council Estates they are known as aliases.
My son's partner gave birth to his daughter after they had split up. Without his knowledge, she registered the baby's in her surname. My son objected so she changed the name by deed-poll and included his. Then she married and, by deed-poll again added the step-father name. Then realising the girl had a long, triple- barrelled name, it was changed a third time, dropping the mother's maiden name.
It's still Hollie-May xxxxx-xxxxx (with hyphens).

Nor have I, except that she apparently sold some replica jerseys
Why anyone would want one, nobody knows. Or cares
It was the women's England keeper kit that sold out, without saying how many were made.

It is just another MU love-in like with Giggs.
