be careful of what you wish for

Great post, the only way we can ever build something at City is if we stick by our manager even when we have a few bad results.

If you want to build a house but keep knocking it down before you put the roof on you will never have a house.
If the bloke in charge of building the house has only ever built a garden shed in the past,it's probably best to get someone competant in rather than hope he'll come good against all the odds.

If we look at the big picture, Hughes was employed to do more than make us a top side in England/Europe. He may not achieve this, but you and I must wait and see. When the owners view we need to move on they will make that decision. Hughes and his team have also been put in charge of accessing the whole workings of the club,(if reports/stories over the last 30 years are true). That’s why we have seen many changes. Once this period is over, or reaches near its conclusion. Then a decision will be made to offer our club to the next likely candidate for a top managerial opportunity. Hughes possibly still has the chance of carrying this club forward, but I cant see his time lasting much longer than the end of the season. So, be very careful what you wish for.
Ps. If it was your money, would you be wanting to make so many changes.

wrong time to sack the manager,

just before the jan transfer window and with still a chance to save the season in the league and with a semi final coming up is the absolute best time to change manager, at the very least it would give the new gut six months to assess the squad before the summer

wrong time to sack the manager,

Just think, the january transfer window, which manager has the better chance of signing class players?

Hughes or a top class manager?

A top class manager straight away just attracts names.

what top class players are available in January, none.and we do not need all the upheaval that change brings right now

Tune into reality FM. No top players or managers are available in January as the top clubs wont let them go. As much as I dislike Hughes and think he should go (Next summer) it would be complely stupid to replace him at this stage. Its more likely results would get worse than better in the short term due to the distruption of losing all the established coaching staff.

GMR football show starts in a couple of minutes and I guees we find out whats happening...
