a customer with ties to city, we are going to sign 7 players (did'nt say when or who) but they are all top signings and one in particular is to quote
"going to cause an explosion"
just what i've been told.
Ok, so I'll put money to the side for 7 Replicas then...

Errm not saying I particularly believe the story but; in Argentina they speak Spanish which funnily enough is the language often used by Spanish waiters who work in tapas bars...also Zabaleta is a mate of Messi's so could possibly know what his future holds.[/quote]

If Messi and Zab are going to be playing together at Club level soon then expect to wave bye-bye to Zab in the near future because for sure Messi is NOT coming to City - anyone who thinks so is deluded and needs taking away by the men in white coats.

I hate this attitude. How the hell do you know if Messi will or will not come to city? Would anyone in the world have said that we would have bought Beano when we did?

We all need to start realising that ANYTHING and I mean anything is possible. I'm not saying he will come but for sure I'm not saying he won't!

well the story around Messi is very different... he was brought to Barca at the age of 13 and they have helped him through some very difficult times and paid a lot of money for him to grow... they have taken care of his family for almost 8 years now... that makes bounds that are not easily breached...

Oh, for fook's sakes!!

Robinho wanted away from Real! He'd have gone to the moon, if he had to! And Kompany wasn't getting on with his manager! Not only that, I think he liked the prospect of the Prem! If the Arse came in for Kompany at the same time, do you think he would've chose us?? Especially if we had no real money?

Come on, fellas, be fooking reasonable!!

Bigga, I have noticed recently that you are always doubting City, City fans including my self have high hopes at who we are signing, we have money, ALOT of money we can have who we like in my eyes if players dont wanna come we top there contract for somthing stupid, But we can still get them.

I personaly think what Di Niro is saying could be true who expected Robinho to come? No one, He might of not come if he liked it at Madrid but we toped his contract and he joined we can repeat that stratergy on other players like Messi.

Just keep your fingers crossed

True but my point is more the "Mr X will NEVER sign so stop being stupid" really annoys me. We can sign anyone so why shouldn't people on here dream.

Sorry but I disagree I think Robinho was a one off, we will start being able to sign Kaka Messi et al when we are challenging for Leagues and European Cups which we are not quite at yet. The likes of Barcelona, Madrid Liverpool, Milan and Inter are a bigger draw than City at the minute. Most players want to win Trophies they have huge wages as it is and for alot of players it's about ego how many medals they have won thier legacy after they finish playing (and may I add rightly so) and at this moment they ain't going to win the big things at city ........ not yet anyway. Bigga in my opinion is a realist and I agree with most things he says.

I hope all I have just posted is blown out of the water in January but I can't see it.

It's a bit early for speculation as to who'll sign in January, not to mind the summer but it's always good to dream I guess.

I honestly don't get how anything can be sorted so it can only be dreaming for now. Anyone in the know is IMO just getting a bit carried away - and can you blame them. Once there are no malicious rumours then no harm.
