Whip the egg onto a piece of toast/fried bread, break the cooked but runny yolk (not possible with scrambled eggs) and cut/mop into bean juice.
treat yourself!When I was in college, away from home and Maine Road, in times of penury, it was beans on toast; in times of liquidity it became egg on cheese on beans on toast! Never had that state banquet since.
That's me, just the thought of beans or tomatoes touching egg, especially scrambled , puts me offAnyone who wants their beans served in a ramekin is a fussy ****.
