Beans in a ramekin

If its on a cooked breakfast then no purely coz I don't think beans belong on a brekker. Anything "poncey" like that to "gentrify" food is bollocks. I see the poster below your OP says he got mushy peas in one - its just wrong.

On a breakfast remove the beans and chuck some tinned toms - in fish and chips the peas should just go on the plate or in the tray - twattish moves like this are usually to allow
Correct, apologies for the previous picture and also for the hash brown (unless it's an unusually thick & uniform piece of fried bread) a cooked breakfast should contain fried bread, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon, sausages and black pudding but no beans as below

Its a personal thing but can't stand them on there - when having eggs etc I am not sure a wind generator is a good idea. Don't get me wrong there are lots of places where baked beans - indeed all beans - have a place just not on a brekker for me thanks

surrounded by wedges of cheesy toast topped by bacon waiting for their allotted topping of Crosse & Blackwell beans - haute cuisine!
When I was in college, away from home and Maine Road, in times of penury, it was beans on toast; in times of liquidity it became egg on cheese on beans on toast! Never had that state banquet since.

I always assumed that the Ramekin was to make it easier for the waiter or waitress to carry multiple items without spilling things like beans.
