Beatles documentary “Get Back”

Also Mimi had a posh accent and didn't like John sounding working class, she didn't think much of George apparently because he sounded Scouse.

Mimi was horrified when she first saw him talking on the telly. Apparently, he was laying on the scouse accent really thick. He never talked that way at home. I think there was an element for all of them of just winding up the London media brigade. They were really “We're from the north-west — deal with it!”. Except for Ringo. He just talked that way naturally, and never put on an act for anybody.
There's a whole book to be written about the discovery of the north by the south, and how the north suddenly became “cool” at the beginning of the sixties and right through it. You've got actors like Albert Finney and Tom Courtenay who are part of that phenomenon, along with a few others. And of course Corrie.

I can't find this anywhere on Disney plus, am I being thick here. Was it on for a limited time or something?

Into the second episode - kind of feels like the first series of Big Brother.

Whilst I am enjoying it (even though some of the scenario feels slightly staged to me), it's not the great 'creation' that appeared to be the critic acclaim on Peter Jackson.

It is interesting seeing them operate but there seems to be far too many distractions as opposed to 'we actually have the material to warrant the studio time to record the album'.

As McCartney eludes to, they don't really have a plan or an ambition.............

Interesting view from Paul on Yoko.

That is interesting, never seen that before.
I always liked Linda. There's a few interviews with her on you tube and she is so down to earth and likeable. I think Paul really liked that after Jane Asher. Actors usually have an ego.
