Having Innsbruck in your name, I'm sure you're very familiar with beautiful places. I have to say, when I visited it was the most picturesque place I've seen in my life. Would love to go back - if only my missus liked the cold!
I stayed in Innsbruck when City played Bayern not the last time but time before. It was snowy but I was walking about in a tee shirt as were others. Very nice climate.
As for nice places one of the nicest villages I've stayed in the UK is Broadway in the Cotswolds. It's stunning, like stepping back in time. Highly recommended.
Mevagissey is Cornwall is lovely.

I very much like Beaumaris on Anglesey. It's got the lot, sea views, mountain views, a castle, an old prison, a fascinating old church, a hotel that Queen Victoria stayed in, a pub that Charles Dickens visited, and a couple of decent "normal" boozers too!

I'm in Skipton for the week on a training course and have to say this place is spot on. I might fetch citymrs28 for a weekend soon.
