A statue of the Dunny Monster must be next? Why not? He’s a legend. Four fans player of the year award in a row. Not the mention the all time record for own goals.
The Bell Lee Summerbee statue should have been the first one a decade ago.

Before my time, but I know how much those players mean to my Dad's generation and while statues may not be to everyone's tastes I think it's a nice thing to celebrate those memories that got a lot of people on here through some dark times in the past.

IMO Bell, Lee, Summerbee don't need statues to be remembered, and even if they do, the statues shouldn't be at the Etihad.
Statues for players is a load of nonsense.

In the next year or two or maybe three - arguably three of the greatest Manchester City players will be departing who have been incredible heroes for our great club. Of course I mean kun, merlin and vinny. I for one would love to see a huge statue of the three of them around the etihad...

He is as far as I know - that's the seventh statue I was referring to.
Surely we'd have heard some noise if the statue had been moved somewhere? Personally I would prefer it put outside somewhere where more can see it - or put it in a raised area in the away concourse.

Somehow had never seen the Trautmann one. I'd have gone for one of him holding his neck after the final, an iconic image of the FA Cup let alone City.
The other one I'd like is Dickov knee sliding at Wembley. Plenty of clubs think we should be in that division, so nice to remind them we've been there and done that
