If he is out then I think the best option for UEFA is to put Petrov on the left and throw Robbie upfront. I have been wanting to see him in that role for a while but with Petrov out it was never going to happen. Maybe he can get up there and start nocking in the goals.

Petrov is hardly going to be ready to give 90 mins against Arsenal after being out all season with no reserve matches behind him, he's nowhere near 100%.

I wouldn't put robbie upfront either, our chances of holding the ball up against Gallas and Toure will be diminished completely, we'll just have wave and wave of Arsenal attack to contend with.

Come on lads don't jump to conclusions. This thread from Sky says it all for me. He apparently struggles to play 2 games in 5 days. Basically he has had enough and is saving himself for Saturday.

Haha, knew he'd crock himself sooner or later.

what an odd reaction to one of your own being injured ?

It's well known he's injury prone, I thought his hiccup occured a while back, but if it's as bad as rumored this truly is a crock.

I'd be surprised if he was faking it, one consistent over the years is that if it humanly possible to get on the park he would make himself available to play for Wales.

The 2 games in 5 days scenario is quite possible, it's a problem he's always going to have.

Long term injury wouldn't surprise me either, degenerative conditions don't tend to get better and it's more a probability than a possibility in my opinion that he will continue to miss chunks of the season until he's moved on.
