Bellamy Injured

Lets hope we are all jumping the gun here, because Bellamy being out would be a huge blow, after his comments over the weekend I am hopeful that it's not as bad as the rumor would suggest.

Ok, all valid points and clearly in an ideal world we'd have liked to keep CB fit for the run in, but as has been pointed out his fitness record was always potentially a problem. I would like to see us play Petrov left with robbie playing in the free role as a second deep seated striker, throw a midfield in there of Kompany, Zabaleta, Ireland or SWP in front of Ned, Micah, Dunnie and Bridge and I think we'd still have enough to come away from Germany with at least a draw.
This is of course dependant on the validity of reports that Petrov is now chomping at the bit and wanted to play against Arsenal (clearly cant due to lack of match time but a couple of reserve games and maybe a behind closed doors session can sort that for him)
All ifs buts and maybe's but while a little disappointed Bellamy is out Im not as concerned as some others that we could have or after tonight may well lose. Here's hoping everyone else comes through ok.

Call me a cynic, but hes obviously had enough of Wales being shit.

He has 'developed an injury', and returned to City, but I would be not at all surprised to see him in a blue shirt at the weekend.

Someone mentioned this last night. What did he say?

To Summarise ....

Wales are crap
Finland are worse
The guy who scored's a tosser
and its pointless now because niether of them are ever good enough to actually qualify for anything never mind win it

at the end he was asked what happens now on wed against Germany ?
his answer was "To be honest mate Im not sure whats going to happen in the next hour or so"

Here you go Dave I thought it would still be on the web somewhere lol

Good positive thinking Nixon

Bellamy was well pissed, it wouldn't surprise me if he's faked an injury.

Just that you'd expect him to fake a back injury (something hard to tell) as opposed to a knee injury. Unless he cared that little that he cudnt even be arsed putting the effort in to make the fake injury look believable

I wouldnt think Bellamy is injured, Id say stuff was said between Bellers and Toshack after Bellers comments after the game.

I agree with this. Toshack is a complete tool when it comes to things like this, and after seeing Bellamy talking after the game at the weekend I think he's giving up on Wales and saving himself for City.
