Bellamy on Mancini and Robinho

Always liked Bellamy (Say always, when he played in sky blue) a proper tenacious midfielder never gave up a lose ball and generally gave 100% every time he played. Disappointing from Mancini & the brazil boys.

Bollocks he did. Bellamy has already said on more than one occasion that he gave up trying when Hughes was sacked and he is man enough to concede that it was a mistake on his part and that with a better attitude he could have been part of it.

Mancini was appointed to slap the dressing room into shape which he did hence why we now have a squad and team that actually win things. That Roberto never stopped slapping is part of the reason why he is no longer here but indulging a player early on who was resentful over the sacking of his mate would have been bloody stupid.

We've moved on since the likes of Bellamy ( and Robinho). Some of you lot need to do the same. Bellamy was an arse-wipe who caused problems wherever he went, including City. Mancini had a lot of faults , but he saw through this no-mark straight away. I'll never forget the grinning numpty gladhanding Harry Redknapp after we'd lost at home to Spurs, denying us 4th place . Fresh as a daisy under Hughes, sicknote under Mancini. Like I say , move on.....but if you're daft enough to waste money on his ghost -written shite, go ahead.

And before the Bellamy apologists jump down my throat, I was at Old Trafford when he single-handedly ripped the shite out of Ferdinand. Shame he was a twat.

glad you mentioned that, his weak effort to stop the cross that cost us: <a class="postlink" href="http://mcfc.co.uk/citytv/Match-highlights/2010/May/City-Spurs-60-seconds" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://mcfc.co.uk/citytv/Match-highligh ... 60-seconds</a> 46 secs.

Mouthy ****, decent player, fell out with just about every manager he played for apart from Hughesless. Is he trying to sell a book by any chance?

Yeah he is but all the proceeds go to his African charity I think

Bellamy may have legitimate points but let's be fair it's only his side of the coin and we all know he saw his game as running about and making a nuisance.

Robinho and Elano were shit at Pompey but I don't think you can label them a disgrace on that alone, and I also don't think that the actual convo he put out shows them in that light.

What's more it's common place for players of the same nationality or who speak the same language to stick together especially in a foreign country.

I think it's easy for him to say these things especially now.

And yet i'd always prefer 11 'Bellamy's' in my team.

Really? You want 11 players who when their fave manager gets sacked for being useless (to put it kindly) get all resentful and decide not to try any more?

Personally I would go for players who put the effort in despite their personal feelings. It shows more professionalism and a better team ethos. With Bellamy its always about him. No different to Robinho in that respect.

I don't know if that's contradictory, ironic or some new level of awkwardness
