Bellamy to Cardiff

That is quality well done City and Mancini.

Hes been told never to return to the training ground and to have no further contact with the team or manager.

Stick him in the reserves? You really don't get Bellamy do you?

Of course I do. Hes a fucking prick and has been at every club hes every played for.

The tone of their relationship was set within Mancini's first weeks as manager when they had an argument about the player wanting an individually tailored training programme.Bellamy was also the subject of an internal investigation into comments in the players' tunnel after Mancini had clashed with David Moyes during the 2-0 home defeat to Everton in March. Someone was overheard shouting something offensive towards Mancini. Bellamy denied it was him and, with noise in the tunnel making it hard to gather evidence, the club decided not to reprimand him.

But Mancini was said to find it "disrespectful and unprofessional" when Bellamy, walking off the pitch after the 1-0 defeat to Tottenham that ended City's hopes of reaching the Champions League, high-fived Redknapp. Then, last week, Bellamy accused Mancini of not speaking to him for six months, an allegation that was strenuously denied. City's directors initially planned to fine Bellamy but instead, on Mancini's recommendation, they have decided to make him persona non grata and effectively wash their hands of him.

High fives with Harry when they stopped us qualifying for the champions league. You might find that acceptable behaviour for a MCFC player but I certainly dont. I cant wait to see the back of this trouble causing dickhead.

Actually this is not strickly true. We have to give him somewhere to train and games to play - he can train at Platt Lane with the under 16s cant he ?

He can play in one of the Youth team. The only power players have is that they are worth alot of money and paid a fortune in wages. But quite obviously we dont care about the money. This is what is deeply rattling players like Bellamy. If they misbehave and cause trouble, we can quite litterally throw them on the scrap heap - they cant even hang round with the full squad causing trouble.

The Ireland Milner deal is different. They have something we want very much, Ireland doesnt really feature in Mancinis plans so hes happy to let him go to get a player he wants that fits in with his plans.

Bellamy wont be allowed to go to a Spurs or Everton etc, certainly not on loan. Forget about that the club have made this clear Bellamy and several maangers that have sown an interest have said as much. Bellamy has no power at all to forace a move to the likes of Spurs.

This is why Cardiff has come up. The club probably see it as fitting punishement to demote him to the championship out of sight out of mind. Hes happy enough as his home town.

The only way he will end up at spurs or Everton is if they pay a biggish fee for him. Even then I am doubful the club would agree to it. The want him out of the way somewhere he cant cause any trouble or get attention, press time so the championship or celtic in the SPL are good options as far as city are concerned.

Right. That is it. You have slagged Bellamy off like there is no tomorrow.

Stick him in the reserves? You really don't get Bellamy do you?

FFS.

I certainly dont get him. He had the opportunity to play the last 2 years at a club wishing to contend trophies but for one reason or another he has chosen to cross the manager. Maybe he thought Mancini was only a stopgap maybe they just clashed personally I dont know. But at the ned of the day if you clash with your employer there is going to be only 1 winner.

We can afford to pay these players wages and not play them. By loaning them out clubs are helping or covering their salaries they are keeping match fit and who knows if we have long term injuries they could come back. Provided we are not helping any of our nearest rivals I think City win all round.

We get rid of disruptive influences and show who is in control at the club. It is clear that Mancini does not rate many of Hughes buys especially the ones from the premiership such as Lescott, Bridge, Bellamy, Ade, RSC players who we knew at the time we had paid too much for both in fees and salaries but that is he prepared to look at players on merit such as giving Jo and Robinho a chance

stick him with the kids so he can tell them what a horrible club this is and what a bunch of twats the manager and the bosses are? D'oh!

anyway, thinking back to the fiasco at Lazio last year (can't remember the players name), that's exactly what they did with one of their trouble makers, and it was enough for him to walk away from his contract with impunity.

The club could not have done more to raise his profile and make him feel valued.
Yet he still chooses to shit on his own doorstep.

It's not good enough.

We should not be pandering to sanctimonious pricks like this.

Good player though he is.

the daily mirror think he is going to spurs wait for it £2 million, laughable.

Now thats the sort of deal even the suggestion that really winds up city fans. I cant see it, would be suicide, if he played for spurs liked he played for us last season could stop us getting into the champions league.

That was the rumour but I think its a myth tbh. I know the case you are talking about they stuck him with the kids he threatened to go to court to get released from his contract they sold or loaned him in the end.

Bellamy only has a year left on his contract anyway. We could easily tie him down in court for 12 months I imagine. Chelsea had that Romanian player in court for years and effectively bankrupt him, ok he took drugs but there are big contracts and fees at stake. Huge risk for Bellamy if he wants to play that game.

It wont come to that hes been told to fuck off and never return to Carrington. He will end up going on loan to Cardiff for the season. Or Celtic, Fulham. GOd riddance to bad rubbish.

I GET Bellamy. Maybe that is the difference.

As for Mancini looking at players that players on merit and leaving Bellamy out....don't make me laugh. He got rid of Bellamy because Bellamy was gobby. Fair enough, but it wasn't for anything on a football level.

We all klnow he was brilliant last season. Where has anyone said different ? But hes ruined that and his legacy at city due to his horrendous attitude. As he has at every club he ever played for.

He finished at city not becuase hes goby. Because he went after the manager. Laughed with the opposition manager when we were knocked out of the top 4, sided with Moyes over Mancini. Tried to destabalise the team before the season started.

Went mouthing off for the press. Basically tried to make Mancinis job impossible.

How bad must he be with the rest of the squad and management for them to ban him from the training complex ? And a few people still stick up for this guy.

It was Pandev. he got his contract annulled, and was awarded 170,000 euros.

conflicting reports on the length of Bellamy's contract, some say he signed for 4 years some 4 1/2. either way he has at least two years left.
