Lol theres some thick people on this forum, with no knowledge of football, who in my opinion, just want to whinge for the pure sake of it.

Bellamy has had a great start to his City career, i didnt like him before he joined City but never watched him as close as i do now, i hope he continues how he has started and will prove to be another excellent Mark Hughes signing.

You wouldnt believe we won today, the negativity from some people around here, and its all aimed at Hughes. Why? Change the bloody record, he's building his team, and judging from the last 6 games and his signings, its working well.

I read somewhere Bellamy and Given 'saved' Hughes today....he bloody signed them in the first place!!!

Heres an idea, why dont we all enjoy our victory, PRAISE the team and its manager, and look forward to hopefully getting 3 points against Portsmouth. Any takers?

Not happy with signing him but I'm won over by him at the moment. Never really realised how much work he puts in until he became one of us.

2 in 3 games as a lone striker is a very good return.

Seconded. I've been defending Hughes and Bellamy on here all day today. There are certain posters who won't be happy, no mattter what Hughes does or doesn't achieve. Or no matter how many goals Bellamy scores or how much graft he's putting in. FFS, some of 'em are still insisting on calling him "BellEnd". What have we done to deserve them as fans?

Maybe it comes with the territory. ie more new fans, less connection with whats gone before. i do get pissed off with people thinking we should be winning everything NOW. good things come...

i had a good look at him today and he is definately what we need. off the ball his workrate closing down angles is superb,i dont care if he is a right tw#t, he,s not the first tw#t thats ever played for us and he wont be the last, and after all personality counts for jack shit on the pitch. great signing, a little overpriced but wtf it aint my dosh.

It astounds me the level that some people will go to waxing lyrical about the poisoned dwarf but now that we are in that Hughes esq type group of grinding out results, then you'll start to put those players who epitamise on a pedastil. So lets just get used to workrate and throw any skill and natural abilility our of the window its Hughes way lets just get used to it

Yeh, the fact that he can finish better than any striker we have had since Anelka is down to being a clogger, no skill at all.
