BELLAMY

Hughes has no idea what he is doing, as demonstrated by the UEFA Cup squad where he thought he could pick De Jong, and he clearly couldn't. As for Bellamy, he took the goal well, that being said we are not to force going forward now as we where during the opening couple of months and that is a worry.

Your beginning to sound a bit obsessed now, every post you slag off Hughes.

Maybe you should see a doctor, this kind of obsession isn't normal.

No it was simply a response to the OP statement that Hughes, knows what he is doing, and I was pointing to the FACT that he doesn't, that's all.

No, he can't have his own thread, he was a Hughes signing, praise for him would be like admiting that maybe Hughes knows what he's doing.

10 pages on Jo suggesting Hughes hasn't got a clue is fine though.

IMO the signing of Bellamy proves that Hughes has no idea what he's doing and it will cost him his job

I know!

Another red card today for twatting Kompany with his putter, when will Hughes learn to buy good strikers like Samaras or Corradi?

We looked really tame upfront today apart from Bellamy, the two DMs just didn't work and Zabaleta was constantly giving it away or overhitting passes. I think at home we need to be more aggressive and against Boro who are fucking dire why didn't we go for the jugular and play one DM? Away from home I can see the 2 DM system, but not at home. I think Caicedo and Bellamy upfront all game would have been a better option, we needed a more physical presence up there with Bellamy.

6 goals in his last 7 games??

support the manager....simple, not as though were fighting relegation is it

Let him get settled in, then make him captain. If you are looking for someone to lead by example, and not be scared of giving out the bollockings when needed, hes the man.

(cue the chorus of "but hes just abusive....")

I have supported the manasger and will continue to do so. The siging of Bellamy was wrong he is not what we needed and we now have a very 1 dimensional team because of it

Is there a link to where Hughes has said he thought he could play De Jong in the UEFA cup or are you just making that assumption to fit your anti Hughes agenda. Must be galling to see us win.

Great performance from Bellamy. Always a goal threat, and his work rate and desire is outstanding.

If you criticised the signing at the time, surely you're starting to change your mind?

He and Given won the game for us.

That's what you get from quality signings. When the team plays poorly, individuals can win the game in a few moments
