fucking unbelievable the guy has been immense for us this season and is now going through a sticky patch and what do some of you do jump straight on him and give him a kicking, earlier in the season it was richards, bridge barry, ireland, robinho now some off you seem to have found your next target

when will some on here realise it is impossible to be a world beater in every game but the one thing you can do every game is work for the team and this is what the likes of bellamy give you without fail

someone has posted in another thread on here about this forum being used by spoilt teenagers and arrogant rag like fans i am starting to see his point of view

This. Bellemy is still one of the first names that should be on the teamsheet only I'd play him with Tevez upfront. Anyone with a football brain can see Bellers is a clinical finisher and together with Tev will give defenders absolute nightmares with their movement. Its mind boggling that a top ex professional like Mancini can't see this.... it drives me crazy.

no i am not thick and understood the OP perfectly you obviously have a downer on bellamy and just waited for opportunity to have pop, you see some so called fans like you can't wait to have a pop at certain players and thats your perogative but its not for me and don't try to tell me your OP is not an attack on bellamy because it plainly is

Since when has having an opinion that he hasn't had a good game for a month now become having a pop at him?

FFS i haven't called him shit, a wanker or offered to drive him to his next club all i have said is raised a point that he is untouchable from any form of criticism and i just wanted to know why that was.

Bellamy is class, he's been our best player this season, along with tevez (and possibly De Jong). He's getting on a bit and his high tempo aproach and tireless running probably warrants giving him a break for a couple of games, have him fresh for the liverpool and chelsea matches.

He's a top class player, but hopefully Johnson can take a bit of weight off his shoulders.

I've not seen him have a good game since Wolves away, that was on 28th Dec. He has been ineffective and poor in the games since then.

Either you don't understand the opening post or are just thick but this thread wasn't created to pick him out for one poor game, it was to highlight how he never gets criticism constructive or not no matter how many concecutive games he has been poor in because he runs about alot and tracks back showing passion.

You watch the next time Adebayor has a bad game and he will get called lazy, shit and overrated but another poor game from "Bellers" yesterday and nothing. The guy could score, celebrate by kissing a rag shirt and still people would make him out to be the messiah.

i have defended robinho in other threads and i have made my feelings clear earlier in this thread about having a pop at players and patience, the OP in my opinion is having a pop at bellamy and he does not deserve it, out of all our squad he is the last one who should be criticised, like i have said earlier any player that is consistently poor should expect flak, but i can't think of a player who has been consistently poor all season, maybe you can?
