where have i said "to fuck off you rag twat" i have offered my opinion to your OP and highlited the fact that you have been waiting in my opinion to have a pop at bellamy, and you have said its not a pop at him and you think he is untouchable, now if thats not discussion i don't know what is
stop getting excited this is a forum after all and we all have our opinions be them right or wrong

So you really think i have been waiting and possibly wanting one of the players i like to have a bad game so i can come on here and in your opinion "have a pop at him"? Have a look through my past posts, i have mentioned it before.

Do you really beleive that?

Deary me.........
deary me indeed

you are the one complaining about sensible debate i have offered my opinion nothing more, we don't all have to agree on everything that is the idea of a forum is it not i have had enough now as like you said there is no sensible debate to be had on here as it looks like we have reached a stailmate

Erm, is there a problem with being a Robinho fan now? Last I looked, he was a City player, I thought I was meant to be a fan! Please explain this to me!

So if the OP had decided to give Robinho some stick, I presume you'd be on here, defending the player as vociferously as you are Bellers? If not, please explain why, given that by your logic, players are not allowed to be criticised on an internet forum!
i have defended robinho in other threads and i have made my feelings clear earlier in this thread about having a pop at players and patience, the OP in my opinion is having a pop at bellamy and he does not deserve it, out of all our squad he is the last one who should be criticised, like i have said earlier any player that is consistently poor should expect flak, but i can't think of a player who has been consistently poor all season, maybe you can?

No, I can't either! But I'm just puzzled why you would bring up the statement "I bet you're a Robinho fan", unless you had some sort of issue with Robi? Its just an odd thing to bring up in the discussion, thats all!

if a player is consistently bad or makes the same mistakes fair enough he should be expecting a bit of stick but the OP on this one is i am afraid to say talking shite
whats next mancini out, it would not suprise me, arrogant rag like behaviour from a few on hear it is depressing

in repsonse to a thread saying why is bellamy immune to criticsm from city fans no matter how poorly he has played is a sensible opinion offered in a debate?

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha fuck me indeed.

i can explain that, i find on hear the bellamy haters are usually the posters who back robinho to the hilt and see bellamy as one of the main reasons robinho could not get in the team
basically they prefere the flair to the graft i personally feel every player brings different things to the party and you need all kinds of players in the squad i have backed robinho in other threads like i said and am just doing the same with bellamy here as i thought the criticism was unfair

that is why i asked the OP if he was a robinho fan and i can see why you would think i was not, just to clarify i was a robinho fan and was gutted to see him go, but i think it was best for all parties that he did

I think you would be looking for ages to find a bellamy hater as i don't think there is any, i certainly am not, i'm a bellamy lover.

Bellamy was fantastic first half of the season, since Hughes left barring Mancini's first two games IMO and others as it has been mentioned alot on here he has been poor and ineffective. My original point was not picking him out, slagging him off or finally got my chance to have a pop at him, it was simply why is he immune from some fans saying he had a poor game. My reasoning for this was maybe because he runs around alot showing passion, he could be dire for 85 mins and then for the last 5 mins run around like a mad men, making tackles, blocks and shouting alot and the dire 85mins would be forgotten about.

That's all i was saying, not having a go at him just asking a question.

I agree entirely with everything you've just written! I am in the same position regarding Robi.

The reason I brought it up, is because I suspected that was Immaculate Pasta's original, unspoken point really, & I agree with him too! If I've read his OP correctly, I don't think he was having a go at Bellamy, I think he was just trying to provide the contrast between the differing sets of reactions that the two players garner from the fans. We'll leave the comparisons between their workrates for a different thread (actually, I hope to god we don't because its been done to death).

The only thing I would say is that many on this thread have brought up Bellamy being played out of position in his defence! I would like to take this opportunity to use the same defence for Robi & its arguably more striking in his case, as its my belief that playing him on the wing highlighted his lack of tracking back more than would have been the case, had he been played in his more favoured, central role!

Finally, it's only taken 6 pages but i think someone has got it!!
