Very interesting....

I used to go to the zoo, fairground and speedway quite a lot as I grew up in Gorton in the fifties and early sixties, also the wrestling in the seventies, in fact my late Dad owned Alex Donaldson's sports shop a few hundred yards up Hyde Road on the corner of Rowsley street....(now demolished)

Alex Donaldson actually used to play for Manchester City in the 20's....
