Benat

Reports in Spain that Valencia are looking to sell Banega and bring in Beñat.

I like them both but Banega is considerably better despite his troubles.

Is this purely a financial decision on Valencia's part then?

I think so. That said, they wouldn't make much more than a couple of million euro profit.

It could just be a case of Banega's time at Valencia running its natural course.

Banega or Benat would be great signings.

I watched both not too long ago and both were impressive however I have noticed both have gone off the boil a bit.

Banega has controversy follow him quite a bit however!

Valencia v Betis tonight.

No team lineups but I am guessing both Benat and Banega will be playing so if you haven't seen either play you can tonight!

9pm kick off but you will have to try alternative methods because its not on Sky!

As the saying goes, I don't think he could do it on a cold night in Stoke.
Doesn't seem like a BPL type of player.
I disagree. I'd personally love to have a player who uses his creativity to create chances against teams that play overly defensive football like Stoke City. Benat's passing would give our strikers more chances to score than a more powerful player's physical presence.

This. Benat is the type of player needed yesterday! Play him with Garcia in the middle, Yaya just behind the striker. With Silva and a pacey midfielder on other side of Yaya. Would be great!

Mancini has a two striker obsession now.

True, but Yaya practically plays as a second striker (just off Aguero/Tevez/Dzeko) when he's playing further up the pitch and it seems to work most of the time.

But in regards to Benat, he is definitely one player City need. He wouldn't be too expensive. He's just someone who could collect the ball off the defence and speed up the attack process something Garcia and Barry can't do. He's a free kick specialist too.

I would take him, heard good things.

Think there's too much pressure on Silva as our only true passer of the ball at the moment. Like Barca I think we need two great playmakers to make it work.
