Going forward he is going to be great. Bit suspect at the back at times particularly first 25 mins but I like him and think he will be a good player for us.

Most of the balls he played in were superb and I can see lots of goals coming from whoever is in the box.

Fantastic play from Ederson today for the brief period he was in goal, coming out of the box to head clear an opportunity, stopping a close in shot from Mo Salah, and fearlessly winning the ball against Mane. Glad to hear that Ederson seems to be OK.

Crossing was superb today

Some of it was, but lets not get carried away, he hit one out of play first bounce the other side, and had one great cross to Walker who was on the other touch line.

Also as a defender in the first half hour he did a good impression of a traffic cone, and left Otamendi totally exposed several times, he must have been the most relieved man in the stadium when he realised that Klopp had inexplicably taken off Salah at half time.
