Backup LB syndrome is definitely a thing at City.His value has groeg Like the value of most players who are injured.
I think this is just the Backup QB Syndrome.
Every LB we've had has been better when not actually playing.
It's alright slating Delph, but it's not a coincindence that he, Zinchenko and Walker made huge errors during Fernandinho's absence.
Anyway, this guy has it all to do when he comes back. He looked like a loose cannon. I don't doubt Pep can sort him out - the mistakes are nothing worse than we saw from Otamendi at his craziest, but he's still in the 'hopefully this will work' category.

I don’t get this take Dax, is it because people have said we've missed him? I don’t see any ott praise of his game here, perhaps Malg's assertion that he's the best crosser in the league could be considered ott but I'd say he's definitely in that conversation.
I'd say we've missed him mainly because of the different option he provides and that he adds another string to our attacking bow. His availability also keeps oppo managers guessing, will Pep play with attacking full backs or inverted.

When put the way you have, I have to agree. Perhaps I misread a lot of the ''we miss him' to mean he'd have solved our problems at LB had he not been injured. My point was simply to suggest that has yet to be proved.
But I agree with t everything you've wrote, so my misstatement.
